What curriculum does SVM follow?

CBSE curriculum is followed in Subham Vidya Mandir.

What is included in the fees?

ID Card, Textbooks, Notebooks, Tie, Belt, School Diary, Socks, School Emblem.

How many students will be there in a class?

Each class will have a maximum of 25 – 35 students from Class I onwards.

How safe is the school campus?

Students are monitored throughout their stay at school. Staff are present with the children wherever they go.

Do you have transport facility in school?

Yes. Contact the school office for details.

Does anyone help our child during snack break and lunch break?

Caretakers are at hand to help children at all times.

What is the age criteria for admission into a class?

Age at Entry Level (Pre-KG) is 2+ years as on March 31st of the year & 5+ years for Class I of the year..

What are the languages taught & from when?

Tamil is taught orally from LKG and writing begins from UKG onwards. Hindi is taught from UKG onwards.

What extracurricular activities does your school provide?

Some of the ECA are Skating, Volleyball, Basketball, Karate, Robotics, etc.

Do you admit students from other boards?

Yes.

What is SVM process on checking the background of their employees?

SVM conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors.

What are your teacher's qualifications?

The quality of teachers is not compromised, for the three important pillars in a young child’s life at this stage are the father, mother and the teachers. The teachers that we recruit are qualified with degrees and trained.

Can I visit my child at school anytime I’d like to?

We prefer that parents keep away from the regular process of the daily session. In emergencies, with permission from the heads, you will be allowed to meet your child.

Are meals provided at School?

No. We do not provide meals at school.

Are all staff trained in First Aid and fire emergencies?

All staff have been given training in first-aid and evacuation drills for fire emergencies.

Are there any times throughout the year that you are closed?

We are open all year round. The only days in which we close are statutory holidays and Public Closures. Kindly follow the school calendar for all assessments, holidays and celebrations.
